Zoom into Museums: The Treasures of Ancient Egypt – Part 2

Zoom into Museums: The Treasures of Ancient Egypt – Part 2

Five-week course starting 17th July 10.30 – 12.00, cost £30

Join me each week, from the comfort of your home, to visit a different museum across the globe. The itinerary includes, the Louvre, Munich, Leiden, Boston and the Ashmolean. Although travel is difficult at the moment, this is the best substitute and is an ideal preparation for future visits!

We will view star exhibits considering where they were found, who discovered them and what we can learn from them.  We will examine how style developed over time and how these works of art were produced. In addition, lesser known artefacts will also be contemplated. The lectures will also show you how to access online catalogues and resources of the museum, which will aid independent study.
